Bio
Jeffrey Johnson is an actor/musician/writer originally from Southboro, Massachusetts. Perhaps best known for the heartfelt feature film Letters to God, he received rave reviews for his portrayal as Brady McDaniels, a troubled soul who finds inspiration through the wisdom of a young man stricken with cancer.
Television credits include NCIS, Bones, Lie to Me, Criminal Minds, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, Burn Notice, Unhitched, CSI, Without a Trace, Barbershop, The District, and Boomtown among others. Film credits include Shadow of Memory (shooting August 2011), Scorcher, Target, Helter Skelter, and award winners Down Dog, Over The Shoulder, and Stellina Blue. His original music has been featured in several Los Angeles Theatre productions, and on NBC's Bionic Woman. Theatre credits include work with The Bad Puppets, The Evidence Room, TSS, The Odyssey Theater, Moving Arts, The FAKE Radio Players, and many others. He appeared in the critically lauded worldwide premiere of Nancy Keystone's Apollo at The Portland Center Stage. On TV & radio you've seen & heard him in dozens of national & regional commercials both on-camera and voice-over.
Jeffrey is proud to have been the officiant of 10 weddings, (and counting,) including his sister & her husband in the Summer of '04, and his cousin, a decorated Iraq War Veteran & his wife in the Fall of '09. And, yes, he's hit for the cycle, AND finished a NY Times Sunday crossword puzzle.
