Ask any kid in America who Beans is and they will laugh and tell you about the beloved, hilarious and adorable star of the Disney Channel's Emmy Award nominated original comedy series, Even Stevens. Steven Anthony Lawrence's portrayal of the pesky neighbor earned him a 2003 Young Artists Award for Best Performance as well as a nomination in 2002. Lawrence reprised the role of Beans in the Disney Channel's The Even Stevens Movie and he received yet another Young Artists Award nomination in 2004. In 2006, he graced the cover of Kid Showbiz Talent as one of the "Stars of 2006" playing a lead in 2 major motion pictures simultaneously playing at the movie theaters.

He was seen opposite Will Ferrell and Robert Duvall in Universal Picture's Kicking & Screaming directed by Jesse Dylan. Steve plays Mark Avery a precocious, wise-cracking socer player in the feature film. Lawrence was also seen along side Martin Lawrence in 20th Century Fox’s Rebound about a coach who is demoted to coaching a high school junior varsity team. This busy actor just completed a comedey show pilot called GAGSTERS for producers, Sean McNamara and David Brookwell.Lawrence was seen in Cheaper By The Dozen from 20th Century Fox, as Steve Martin’s hysterical next door neighbor. This role too garnered him a nomination for a 2004 Young Artists Award. Director Shawn Levy said, "Steven Anthony Lawrence is a one-of-a-kind. When I cast him in a major supporting role in Cheaper by the Dozen, I knew he'd be good, but I didn't know just how good. A total professional with an adult-sized work ethic, Steven is a special performer. His look, his voice, his acting style—they're all unique and entertaining in a really individual way. I've seen Cheaper play for audiences many times and trust me: Audiences LOVE watching Steven. He's real, he's hilarious, he's just plain terrific."

Lawrence could not be missed by fans in the blockbuster hit, Dr. Suess' Cat in the Hat. The younger actor, loved playing opposite the ‘Cat’ (Mike Myers) and enjoyed giving the older actor’s character “a hard time and a lot of grief!”

Additional feature film credits for Lawrence include My Favorite Martian, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Bubble Boy, The Muse, 13 Moons, Lord of the Road, Dreamers and Operation Splitsville.

His comedic talents are also evident in the television comedies he guest starred in that include: That's So Raven, Friends, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Married With Children, Mad TV and 2 episodes of Frasier. Lawrence's work on Frasier earned him another a 2003 Young Artists Award nomination. As a dramatic actor, Lawrence played diverse characters on the critically acclaimed drama ER and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Lawrence is the only young actor to have a fan club at Yale. The young thespian was delighted to learn that students at the Ivy League school started a Steven Anthony Lawrence Fan Club for him that has 65 members. A favorite with ad agencies as well, Steven has appeared in over 50 national commercials.

This talented young actor enjoys bowling, stand-up comedy, playing video games, writing stories and entertaining American troops for the USO. He took first place in his school's science fair and excels in Art, English and Sign Language.
